Transport Properties of Ferromagnet-d-wave Superconductor Ferromagnet Double Junctions Typeset Using Revt E X 1
نویسنده
چکیده
We investigate transport properties of a trilayer made of a d-wave supercon-ductor connected to two ferromagnetic electrodes. Using Keldysh formalism we show that crossed Andreev reflection and elastic cotunneling exist also with d-wave superconductors. Their properties are controlled by the existence of zero energy states due to the anisotropy of the d-wave pair potential.

Se p 20 02 Transport properties of ferromagnet - d - wave superconductor ferromagnet double junctions
We investigate transport properties of multiterminal structures composed of a d-wave superconductor connected to two ferromagnetic electrodes. Using a non-equilibrium Green's function method and a Landauer approach we show that crossed Andreev reflections and cotunneling exist also with d-wave su-perconductors, however their properties are governed by the anisotropy of the d-wave pair potential.

The transport properties of a ferromagnet–superconductor (FS) junction are studied in a scattering formulation. Andreev reflection at the FS interface is strongly affected by the exchange interaction in the ferromagnet. The conductance GFS of a ballistic point contact between F and S can be both larger or smaller than the value GFN with the superconductor in the normal state, depending on the r...

متن کاملTheory of the Josephson effect in unconventional superconducting junctions with diffusive barriers
We study theoretically the Josephson effect in junctions based on unconventional superconductors with diffusive barriers, using the quasiclassical Green’s function formalism. Generalized boundary conditions at junction interfaces applicable to unconventional superconductors are derived by calculating a matrix current within the circuit transport theory. Applying these boundary conditions, we ha...
متن کاملCharge Current in Ferromagnet-superconductor Junction with Pairing State of Broken Time-reversal Symmetry. Typeset Using Revt E X 1
We calculate the tunneling conductance spectra of a ferromagnetic metal/insulator/superconductor using the Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk (BTK) formulation. Two possible states for the superconductor are considered with the time reversal symmetry (T) broken, i. both cases the tunneling conductance within the gap is suppressed with the increase of the exchange interaction due to the suppression of the...
